Hasbro G2270 Transformers Studio Series Energon Universe Optimus Prime adds a specific, display-focused release to the Transformers collection. The design is based on Optimus Prime’s battle-damaged appearance in the Energon Universe comics and keeps the recognisable shapes, colours and equipment of that appearance. It works as a standalone centrepiece while matching the scale and visual language of related collectibles.
The sculpt and articulation are arranged for both a clean neutral stance and more character-driven scenes. Small changes in the head, hands, equipment or vehicle position alter the silhouette without hiding the defining details. This makes it practical to build a shelf scene gradually or to present the item on its own.
This Leader Class figure stands 7.25 inches tall and converts from robot to an iconic semi-truck. The asymmetric Megatron arm is the defining feature; its removable fusion cannon can be combined with the included blaster and Matrix of Leadership. Robot and truck modes preserve the comic-inspired damage and altered silhouette. Hasbro does not publish an official transformation-step count for this release. It belongs to the Transformers Studio Series collection.
Premium decoration separates layered surfaces, costume panels and mechanical details clearly. The included parts are useful rather than decorative filler: they support alternate portraits, action poses, travel modes or scene-specific arrangements. That variety gives the release a clear place in a focused collection.

About Energon Universe Optimus Prime
Optimus Prime leads the Autobots through the Energon Universe, where conflict with the Decepticons forces difficult choices and visible sacrifices. After losing an arm, he uses Megatron’s arm and weapon, giving his familiar heroic outline a disturbing enemy element. The figure captures that exact story moment rather than presenting a standard version of the Autobot leader. Related displays can be found in the Transformers Autobots collection, main Autobots collection, Optimus Prime collection.
