NEO GEO Shock Troopers

ELITE SOLDIERS, NON-STOP ACTION, TOTAL CHAOS ON THE BATTLEFIELD!

Prepare for ruthless top-down action in Shock Troopers, one of the most intense and replayable run-and-gun shooters on the NEOGEO AES+. This explosive classic, which originally appeared in arcades in 1997, offers lightning-fast combat, branching paths, and gigantic bosses in a true demonstration of the power of 2D sprites. Choose from an eight-man special forces team – each with unique abilities – or select Team Battle mode to combine three characters for strategic flexibility. Fight through jungles, military bases, deserts, and enemy strongholds as you dismantle the terrorist organization Bloody Scorpion in a mission packed with vehicles, heavy artillery, and explosions that fill the screen. With tight controls, multiple routes, varied character play styles, and the allure of chasing high scores, Shock Troopers offers excellent depth and replayability for both solo and cooperative play.
