Playmates Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Remastered Raphael vs. Rocksteady brings together a hero and a familiar Foot Clan enforcer in one character-focused two-pack. Both figures reinterpret their late-1980s Playmates designs with sharper sculpting and modern articulation, while retaining the bold shapes and animated expressions that made the original toy line so recognisable.
Raphael and Rocksteady each stand approximately 4.5 inches tall. Their comparable size makes the set well suited to a face-off display, and the improved joints allow more expressive fighting stances than the vintage figures. The contrasting designs also make the pairing immediately readable: Raphael wears his red mask and carries the compact silhouette of a trained Turtle, while Rocksteady has the heavy build and rhinoceros features associated with Shredder’s mutant henchman.
Both figures include character-specific accessories that support action poses and shelf displays. The set fits naturally alongside other Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collectibles, but it also works as a self-contained hero-versus-villain scene. The remastered styling is especially appealing to collectors who remember the 1988 range and want those designs in a more poseable format.
The combination of nostalgic styling, updated articulation and two opposing characters gives this release several display options. Pose Raphael on the attack, set Rocksteady up as a defensive heavyweight, or place the pair together as a compact snapshot of the long-running conflict between the Turtles and the Foot Clan.

About Raphael and Rocksteady
Raphael is the most hot-headed of the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. His impatience often puts him at odds with Leonardo, but his loyalty and courage make him a formidable defender of his brothers. Rocksteady is a human criminal transformed into a mutant rhinoceros and commonly serves Shredder alongside Bebop. Their opposing temperaments and physical styles make them a natural match for this remastered showdown set.
