The Bandai 1/144 HG Brutishdog model kit recreates Fyana’s distinctive pink and red Armored Trooper from Armored Trooper VOTOMS. Developed from the HG Scopedog structure with dedicated expansion parts, the kit preserves the machine’s compact, industrial silhouette while adding the asymmetric arm equipment that separates the Brutishdog from the standard Scopedog.
The HG construction supports the characteristic VOTOMS landing stance, a low kneeling pose and a forward-leaning Roller Dash pose. The left arm can be arranged for the Arm Punch action, although the cartridge-ejection mechanism is not reproduced. Alternate hand parts help vary the presentation, and a three-dimensional metallic sticker adds a reflective sensor detail without requiring paint.
Pair this kit with other releases from the Gundam High Grade range, or explore more mobile suits across our wider Gundam collection. Once assembled, the articulation and separate equipment make it possible to move between a restrained technical display and a more dramatic action pose. Small changes to the torso angle, foot placement and weapon position expose different panel lines and layered armour details while keeping the machine’s recognisable silhouette clear.
Colour separation is created primarily through moulded parts, with the included stickers reserved for smaller accents. Builders can therefore obtain a recognisable result directly from the box and still have room for panel lining, detail painting or weathering if they want a more individual finish.

About 1/144 HG Brutishdog
The Brutishdog appears in Armored Trooper VOTOMS as a modified machine associated with Fyana, also known as the Perfect Soldier Proto One. Its special equipment and vivid colour scheme make it immediately different from the mass-produced Scopedog, while its compact proportions retain the utilitarian military character of the series. The model therefore works particularly well beside other VOTOMS Armored Troopers, where the shared mechanical language and distinctive pilot-specific modifications become easy to compare.
