DNA Design DNA Design DK-79 HOS OP Upgrade Kit adds a specific, display-focused release to the Transformers collection. The design is based on the steam-powered Hearts of Steel interpretation of Optimus Prime and keeps the recognizable shapes, colors and equipment of that appearance. It works as a standalone centerpiece while matching the scale and visual language of related collectibles.
The sculpt and articulation are arranged for both a clean neutral stance and more character-driven scenes. Small changes in the head, hands, equipment or vehicle position alter the silhouette without hiding the defining details. This makes it practical to build a shelf scene gradually or to present the item on its own.
DK-79 is an upgrade kit for the Transformers Timelines Hearts of Steel Optimus Prime set; the base Transformer is not included. The kit adds a new chest piece, gap fillers for thighs, arms and legs, weapon accessories and an upgraded train car that converts into a weapon system. The original chest armor can remain as an optional attachment, and the parts are designed for storage. It belongs to the Transformers Autobots collection.
Premium decoration separates layered surfaces, costume panels and mechanical details clearly. The included parts are useful rather than decorative filler: they support alternate portraits, action poses, travel modes or scene-specific arrangements. That variety gives the release a clear place in a focused collection.

About Hearts of Steel Optimus Prime
Hearts of Steel reimagines Transformers history in an alternate industrial age, replacing modern vehicles with steam-powered machines. Optimus Prime’s locomotive form is central to that aesthetic. DNA Design specializes in third-party upgrade kits that add replacement parts, accessories and storage solutions to existing Transformers figures. DK-79 focuses on both appearance and usable play features rather than creating a separate figure. Related displays can be found in the main Autobots collection, Optimus Prime collection.
