Hasbro G2014 Transformers Age of the Primes Deluxe Tailgate brings a clearly defined version of the character to the Transformers shelf. The figure follows the deco and design language of its named series and combines a recognizable robot silhouette with a functional alternate mode.
The figure measures 5.25 inches in robot mode and converts between robot and car in 12 steps. That transformation provides a defined sequence for collectors who enjoy handling the engineering as well as displaying the finished modes. Articulation in robot mode supports stable standing, character poses and scene-based arrangements with other figures from the line.
The blaster accessory attaches in both modes. It can be used for an armed robot pose or integrated into the car display, while the articulated joints support compact action poses.
The combination of accurate scale, series-specific styling and practical articulation makes the item suitable for a focused single-character display as well as a larger shelf arrangement. Neutral poses show the sculpt and colour separation clearly, while the available joints, conversion or accessories allow the presentation to be changed without needing a separate display piece. This gives the release a clear place in a collection built around the same franchise and scale.

About the character
Tailgate is a loyal but sometimes naïve Autobot scout. His small car form, determined personality and place among the Autobot minibots are reflected in this compact Deluxe Class release. See more Transformers character figures at TF-Robots.
