Hasbro G1999 Transformers Age of the Primes Voyager Class Sideways brings a motorcycle and a small Mini-Con team together in one set. The main figure stands approximately 5.75 inches tall in robot mode. His design recalls Sideways from Transformers: Armada, with a two-wheeled alternate form that gives him a different profile from the cars, trucks and aircraft found elsewhere in the line.
Sideways converts from robot to motorcycle in 23 steps. The robot is articulated for different stances, while attachable tailpipe weapon accessories let you incorporate his vehicle equipment into an action pose. In motorcycle mode, the same figure becomes a vehicle that can be displayed with the included smaller characters, rather than needing an unrelated rider from another set.
Mini-Con Crosswise and Mini-Con Rook are both included. They combine into Mini-Con Combiner Mirror, which can ride Sideways in motorcycle mode. This means you can present the smaller figures separately, combine them as Mirror or put the rider and motorcycle together as one scene. The box contains three figures, four accessory pieces and instructions. Those different combinations make the Mini-Cons an important part of the set, not just additional characters standing beside the main robot.

About Sideways
Sideways is associated with deception and shifting loyalties in Transformers: Armada. He is not a straightforward heroic team member, which gives him a different role from familiar Autobot allies. Age of the Primes connects him to Liege Maximo, reinforcing that theme of manipulation. The motorcycle and combined Mini-Con rider keep this toy closely tied to his recognizable configuration while offering several ways to show the relationship between the larger robot and the smaller figures.
