Hasbro G2190 Transformers Studio Series The Transformers: The Movie Leader Astrotrain brings a carefully identified version of Astrotrain to the collection. The release is based on The Transformers: The Movie and measures 6.75 inches. Its finish and proportions are designed for display, while the construction supports varied poses or use. The articulated Leader Class robot uses Astrotrain’s grey, purple and black animated palette, with train and shuttle components worked into the limbs and torso.
The product sits naturally within the Transformers collection. Its source-specific styling makes it easy to combine with related characters without losing the details that distinguish this particular release. This triple changer converts from robot to train in 29 steps and then from train to space shuttle in 16 steps. The rail and spacecraft modes offer very different horizontal profiles and make the complete sequence more than a simple two-mode conversion.
The design is made for collectors who want to change the presentation rather than leave the item in one fixed arrangement. The confirmed features have a clear function in posing, transformation, wear or display. Two blasters, three blast effects and a smoke effect support scenes in every mode. The smoke trail suits the train, the blast effects attach to the weapons, and articulated hands can recreate the crowning of Starscream.
Within TF-Robots’ range, the Transformers Studio Series collection groups this release with other figures and replicas from the same collector program.

About Astrotrain
Astrotrain is the Decepticon triple changer who transports surviving troops away from Earth after the Battle of Autobot City. Overloaded and short on energy, he becomes the setting for a ruthless decision about damaged warriors and later for Starscream’s brief coronation. The train, shuttle and robot modes therefore connect directly to important scenes from the 1986 film. This interpretation also belongs with the Transformers Decepticons collection, Transformers Decepticons Multi Changers collection, Transformers Astrotrain collection, connecting its faction, group or character to the physical release.
